The first place I went to in my summer was Croatia...
In Croatia, we found an abandoned house.
There were two of these abandoned houses/buildings. In them everything had either been burnt, rusted or gratified. These pictures give the sense of things left behind, old and forgotten. Some things look deliberately burnt and you know there is more of a story there. They bring up questions like who has been there? Why? Why were things burnt? We came across half a burnt book which I thought looked great, sadly by this time it was dark and as nobody lived in these places there were no lights to get a decent picture.
After Croatia, I went with my family to Cornwall for the first time. We stayed in St.Ives.
In Cornwall I went to The Eden Project.
The Eden Project is based in Cornwall. Eden is a charity and social enterprise.
In eden they run transformational social and environmental projects at eden and around the world.
Also, eden are doing valuable research into plants and conservation, always making sure they run their operations in the greenest possible way. Eden was created in this particular place in Cornwall as previously there were clay mines, creating an ugly cut into land.

This is what Eden looked like before it was transformed.
